Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the AeroVect vehicle platform end-to-end, integrating mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems into an autonomous vehicle.
  • •Set and own the multi-year hardware roadmap and vehicle architecture across platform generations, balancing cost, reliability, manufacturability, and safety.
  • •Manage the hardware team across all disciplines—build the org, hire senior talent, run operating cadence, and ensure delivery against the hardware roadmap.
  • •Partner with software teams on the next generation of drive-by-wire and own redundancy architecture and safe-state behavior for failure scenarios.
  • •Own manufacturing and supply chain execution, including supplier/contract manufacturer selection, qualification, and moving from prototype through pilot to volume production.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 275,000 - 350,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of hands-on hardware engineering experience shipping real products in demanding environments.
  • •Strong dual depth in mechanical and electrical engineering, able to lead design reviews and make trade-offs at subsystem boundaries.
  • •Direct management experience leading a hardware/robotics team across disciplines, including hiring, leveling, and growing talent.
  • •Track record running hardware org cadence (planning, prioritization, design reviews, performance management) while maintaining technical rigor.
  • •Experience taking a product from architecture through DFM, supplier qualification, pilot builds, and into volume production.
