Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute customized account plans to increase sales volume and market share within financial institutions in Venezuela.
  • •Manage and grow account relationships with issuers, acquirers, fintechs, and wallets, creating new sales and revenue opportunities.
  • •Use a consultative sales approach to meet client business objectives and maximize performance metrics across payment portfolios.
  • •Review the payment landscape and recommend, develop, and implement creative approaches to grow Visa’s issuer business.
  • •Support product development and marketing for new product launches or expanded penetration, lead internal ad-hoc projects, and ensure annual goals are implemented.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years with a PhD.
  • •9+ years (Bachelor) or 7+ years (Advanced degree), or 3+ years (PhD) is preferred.
  • •Ability to develop, lead, and close complex competitive sales efforts using effective sales strategies for payment products and services.
  • •Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with proven ability to implement initiatives and troubleshoot/problem-solve.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English, including executive-level presentation and the ability to negotiate business agreements.
