Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead HVAC system design and engineering for oil & gas facilities, including hazardous area ventilation, pressurization, and smoke management systems.
  • •Perform heat load calculations, equipment sizing/selection, and develop/review HVAC layouts, ducting drawings, schematics, and related bid/evaluation inputs.
  • •Ensure compliance with ADNOC engineering standards and international codes; coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Civil teams.
  • •Review vendor documents and approve HVAC equipment submittals; support procurement and timely material delivery.
  • •Lead HVAC engineering deliverables (schedules/manpower), mentor HVAC engineers/designers, and support installation through testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and TAB performance validation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •Minimum 15 years’ experience in HVAC Engineering, including at least 5 years as a Lead Engineer.
  • •Experience on mega ADNOC Oil processing EPC/EPCm projects.
  • •Experience using HAP/Carrier software (or equivalent) plus AutoCAD and Revit.
  • •Knowledge of ADNOC specifications and procedures and familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, and DW144 standards.
