Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise tool performance and schedule/perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets.
  • •Use mechanical, electronic, and software skills to solve, repair, and document equipment issues.
  • •Assist with equipment installations and engineering tests; build and modify equipment procedures to align with area and global practices.
  • •Improve area/shift KPIs by driving LTD reductions, MA improvements, and excursion prevention to optimize overall fab performance.
  • •Drive root-cause analysis and apply SPC principles and DOE/8D problem-solving to identify and permanently prevent equipment issues that cause downtime or yield loss.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering (other related fields may be considered).
  • •Flexible to work any shift and rotate shifts as needed.
  • •Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, basic electronic components, and electrical fundamentals.
  • •Skilled in electrical, vacuum, gas flow, and mechanical fundamentals, with experience using schematic diagrams to fix systems.
  • •Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and use intermediate-to-advanced software skills (e.g., Python, Java, Tableau, Matlab, MS Office Suite).
