Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and maintain Skype for Business 2015 and 2019 environments, providing 24/7 operational support for internal and federated users globally and performing routine monitoring, updates, and patching.
•Develop and execute migration plans to move all users and services from legacy SfB environments to SfB SE, including persistence chat rooms, with minimal downtime.
•Continuously monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to enhance scalability and reliability of SfB environments.
•Collaborate with network engineers, IT support, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and alignment with business needs during migrations.
•Oversee decommissioning of legacy Skype for Business services after migration completion and maintain documentation and audit trails.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of related experience
•Strong hands-on experience with Skype for Business 2015 and 2019 (installation, configuration, ongoing management)
•Experience migrating Skype for Business environments and managing persistent chat
•PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting
•US citizenship and TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance; 8570 compliant with a Security+ certificate
