Assist Herd Technicians with routine animal care and general farm tasks to support animal welfare. Feed, water, vaccinate, and perform basic animal husbandry and veterinary procedures, including handling piglets (medication injections, castration, docking tails, ear notching). Maintain sanitation using high-pressure equipment, manage animal movement and production records, and comply with animal welfare, environmental, safety, and biosecurity procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist Herd Technicians with routine animal care and general farm tasks to support animal welfare.
•Feed, water, vaccinate, and perform general animal husbandry tasks including basic veterinary procedures.
•Move animals and maintain efficient animal flows.
•Sanitize and wash multiple areas of the farm using high pressure equipment.
•Process piglets and maintain accurate production information and update department records as required.
