Key Responsibilities

•Originate residential 1st mortgage loans for outside referrals from application to closing.
•Develop and maintain referral contacts such as realtors and builders.
•Complete applications using Fannie Mae Form 1003 and use systems to access daily rates, credit reports, and Loan Prospector responses.
•Collect required documentation, deliver loan packages on management timelines, and manage the loan pipeline through closing.
•Communicate timely updates to branches and/or applicants and attend required Consumer Lending meetings while ensuring strong customer service.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent (four-year college degree preferred).
•Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines.
•Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
•Knowledge of federal lending regulations governing real estate lending.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) required at time of employment.
