Job Summary

Shape and improve the CAx tool and data landscape for electrical design and machine control. Serve as the central IT expert for EPLAN and Siemens SIMATIC environments, managing licenses, servers, databases, and synchronization processes. Ensure integration between EPLAN and PLM systems (preferably SAP PLM), support deployments and updates, and provide global 2nd-level support while leading projects from requirements through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and continuously improve the global tool and data landscape for electrical design and machine control engineering.
•Act as the central IT expert and architect for EPLAN and Siemens SIMATIC environments aligned with global IT infrastructure.
•Manage licenses, servers, databases, material tables, and part synchronization processes.
•Ensure seamless integration of EPLAN with PLM systems, preferably SAP PLM, and support deployment and updates of CAx tools.
•Provide global 2nd-level support and analyze IT requirements to lead projects from design through testing to implementation.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
•Strong expertise in electrical design tools, especially EPLAN.
•Experience with Siemens-based automation solutions (e.g., SIMATIC Step).
•Knowledge of PDM/PLM systems (e.g., SAP PLM/ECTR or Autodesk Vault).
•ITIL Foundation or similar knowledge of IT service management.
