Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and serve as subject matter expert for fluid/HVAC components across data center builds, including chillers, pumps, dry coolers, chemical treatment, water storage, and building pressurization.
  • •Perform CAD modeling and design, and deconflict designs with other disciplines in three dimensions.
  • •Conduct fluid analyses for pressure balance, component design allowables, and consumables determination.
  • •Coordinate with procurement and construction to select, apply, and procure equipment that meets timeline, cost, and performance targets.
  • •Ensure designs for internal manufacturing partners are manufacturable and reliable, supporting a smooth transition to production with minimal sustainment engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • •1+ years of professional experience with fluid components such as valves, pumps, COPVs, compressors, heat exchangers, pressure transducers, or temperature sensors.
  • •10+ years of professional experience with the same types of fluid components.
  • •PE License.
  • •Consulting experience in the data center market and hands-on experience with fluid (liquid and/or gas) handling systems are preferred.
