Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive new material deliveries and returns from the plant into the BNPP Warehouse and perform receipt inspection to ensure parts received are correct and in good condition.
  • •Conduct Standard receipt inspection and update Receipt Inspection Records to complete Goods Receipt Notes.
  • •Perform proper handling, put away, storage and accurate accounting of BNPP inventory to ensure traceability and availability of materials.
  • •Monitor and perform movement of material within the warehouse which may require use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to ensure safe handling of Materials.
  • •Maintain warehouse storage conditions to ensure proper maintenance.
  • •Maintain inventory of materials to ensure Stocking as per the storage recommendations from the suppliers, Nuclear Specification Engineering, Maintenance teams and optimum utilization of Warehouse space.
  • •Conduct regular inventory and stock checks to ensure all items in stock are maintained properly and shelf-life items are correctly identified by the due date.
  • •Issue and coordinate delivery of material in a timely manner to support BNPP operations.
  • •Ensure issuing materials in accordance with policy and requirement
  • •Monitor Batch/ Shelf Life of materials and plan to consume / extend the Near Shelf-Life expiry material in consultation with Nuclear Specification Engineering and Maintenance teams.
  • •Warehouse Housekeeping
  • •Perform pre-operational preparations of materials, handling equipment, operability and cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • •Carry out pre-operational check for all mobile equipment to ensure safe handling of Materials.
  • •Maintain proper housekeeping of BNPP Warehouse to ensure all Material Handling equipment are in good condition.
  • •Monitor and ensure that the Stocks / items are free from Foreign Material to prevent ingress to plant systems and equipment.
  • •Conduct of In-Storage Preventative Maintenance to maintain the spares in good condition.
  • •All individuals take personal responsibility for safety; follow company HSE policies, procedures and instructions; avoid complacency and continuously challenge existing conditions and activities in order to identify discrepancies that might result in error or in appropriate action; report any situation that could present a hazard; not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided at the workplace in the interest of health, safety, welfare or protection or management of the environment.
  • •Follow all relevant Security policies, processes, procedures, and instructions to ensure security compliance in all aspects of work, by applying them on self, others, and corporate assets.
  • •Follow all relevant Business Continuity and Resilience requirements for compliance with, and adherence to, policies, procedures and instructions related to the effective planning for, and response to, incidents and/or business disruptions to continue critical business processes and activities with minimal adverse impact.

  • •1 to 2 years of relevant experience
  • •Forklift and Manual Pick up driving licenses
  • •Any other qualifications required as per ENEC Operations safety requirements
