Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead engineering efforts and team-level processes by defining outcomes and advising senior leaders on systems and strategy.
  • •Drive end-to-end ownership of software design, implementation, and operational excellence, improving existing structures and processes.
  • •Contribute to the technical engineering roadmap by evaluating implementation alternatives, their trade-offs, and making recommendations.
  • •Provide technical leadership for a small team with minimal guidance and lead release management to ensure platform high availability.
  • •Design, estimate, and implement new and refactored services at scale; own performance and availability and participate in on-call rotations during incidents.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related engineering field, plus 8 years of experience in the role or a related occupation.
  • •Experience designing and developing large-scale software applications using Object-Oriented Design.
  • •Experience with Python and the Django framework.
  • •Experience with distributed systems, cloud-native applications, and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes.
  • •Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices at scale, including secure and reliable service development on cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
