Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead emergency response efforts as ERT Captain, directing personnel during medical, chemical, gas, HAZMAT, and rescue incidents.
  • •Ensure compliance with safety protocols including PPE, CoHE (Lockout/Tagout), and chemical handling procedures.
  • •Conduct safety audits and hazard prevention checks, applying and reviewing Job Hazard Analyses (JHA/JSA).
  • •Manage and maintain emergency response tools and equipment, documenting incidents and monitoring safety trends.
  • •Complete documentation and reporting, support safety-related projects and cost-reduction initiatives using data analysis and preventive maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s degree in emergency services (or related equivalent experience).
  • •2+ years’ experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with an EMT license (or equivalent).
  • •Ability to work 12-hour shifts with rotating day/night shifts and adapt to overtime as needed.
  • •Ability to lift 25–40 pounds and stand up to 10 hours per shift while walking intermittently.
  • •2+ years’ experience with SAP, Enablon, or similar incident tracking systems; ability to become certificated in SCBA, SKA, APR respiratory protection, HAZMAT response, and confined space/high angle rescue.
