Job Summary

Provide senior structural engineering support for multi-site/phase due diligence, investigation, remediation, and construction of building and infrastructure projects in the public and private sector. Lead structural design and inspections, develop construction plans/specifications, and use advanced modeling and visualization to support technical recommendations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and help scope medium-sized projects, while maintaining QA/QC, regulatory compliance, and health & safety plan requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Determine methods for collecting, compiling, and analyzing site and subsurface data to support project development, design, and construction.
•Perform structural engineering work including research and inspections to verify conformance with standards, rules, and permits.
•Develop construction plans and specifications and apply advanced modeling and design requirements for safety, functionality, and future-ready solutions.
•Prepare data, visualizations, calculations, and technical reports/presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
•Develop and implement site Health and Safety Plans (HASPs) and support QA/QC, regulatory compliance, and guidance/training for entry-level engineers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or closely related discipline).
•5 to 7 years of post-education experience in engineering with prior structural or civil design experience.
•Engineer in Training Certification.
•Proficient knowledge of structural engineering principles, practices, and design/build applications.
•Experience with structural/civil construction laws, codes, regulations, and compliance/record-keeping; ability to perform engineering computations and inspections.
