Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead NA BG Shared Services financial reporting and accounting functions for three BGs, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and Amcor policies.
  • •Manage accounting, budgeting, and forecasting for significant items and restructuring programs, including monthly actual and forecast reporting to corporate.
  • •Execute balance sheet reviews and coordinate monthly tracking of risks and opportunities; develop and deliver management performance reporting.
  • •Oversee monthly closing, consolidation, and reporting cycles, including administration of the SAP-BPC Financial Consolidation system and coordination of consolidated tax reporting requirements.
  • •Lead and develop a team of about 7 direct/indirect reports, drive process streamlining, and oversee internal controls/SOX compliance plus external audit engagement review activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • •10 years of accounting and reporting experience in an international environment, with SEC reporting experience strongly preferred.
  • •Experience leading and managing a team of direct and indirect professionals.
  • •Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP accounting and tax with ability to communicate complex topics to non-technical stakeholders.
  • •Professional accreditation preferred (CPA, CA or similar).
