Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive repair orders and perform work as outlined in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • •Diagnose causes of malfunctions, complete repairs, and determine if additional safety or service work is required.
  • •Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts and save/tag parts for warranty requests.
  • •Road-test vehicles when required (or refer to the test technician) and ensure vehicles are not used for personal errands.
  • •Supervise apprentice technicians, attend factory-sponsored training, keep current with technical bulletins, and follow all safety and regulatory procedures.
