Key Responsibilities

  • •Transcribe audio recordings into accurate, time-aligned written text following project style guides
  • •Apply speaker identification, overlapping speech handling, disfluencies, fillers, false starts, and non-speech events per conventions
  • •Make principled orthographic decisions for dialectal and code-switched speech while flagging ambiguous segments
  • •Self-review submissions against Perle’s quality bar and participate in calibration with QA reviewers
  • •Engage with linguistic leads and QA teams on edge cases and style updates
