Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead post-award grant management and compliance strategies for public infrastructure projects in collaboration with the Advisory team and other WSP practice groups.
  • •Contribute to business development for post-award grant management support contracts, including opportunity identification, proposal development, interview and negotiations.
  • •Manage compliance with federal guidelines, including 2 CFR 200, ensuring grant activities are compliant.
  • •Oversee complex post-award grant deliverables such as milestone/progress and financial reporting, obligating grant funds, managing grant agreements, subrecipient oversight, and grant closeout.
  • •Serve as task lead/key staff for grant assistance contracts by managing scope, schedule, and budget.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Policy, Urban or Transportation Planning, or a related discipline.
  • •5-7 years of relevant experience performing complex grant functions, including grant writing for federal discretionary programs, executing grant agreements, post-award grant administration, and grant accounting.
  • •Previous experience supporting business development efforts and securing new advisory engagements with public- and private-sector clients.
  • •Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • •Experience with post-award grant management platforms such as the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Transit Award Management System (TrAMS).
