Job Summary

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform to enable BI, reporting, and analytics. Build ETL/ELT processes, ensure data quality and governance, and develop semantic models and datasets for Power BI. Optimize performance, scalability, and cost, collaborate with architects and stakeholders, and troubleshoot production issues while mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data pipelines and integrate data from multiple sources using Azure cloud technologies.
•Build and optimize data warehouse solutions and implement ETL/ELT processes for reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.
•Develop and maintain semantic models and datasets to support Power BI reporting, including reusable DAX measures and calculations.
•Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and security; optimize platform performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
•Collaborate with architects and development teams, maintain technical documentation, and support production environments by troubleshooting issues and mentoring junior team members.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
•Minimum 6 years of experience in data engineering, big data, or cloud-based pipeline development.
•Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise data warehouse solutions.
•Proven ability to gather, analyze, and translate business and reporting requirements into scalable technical solutions.
•Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Delta Lake, including performance tuning for large-scale data processing.
