Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain Electron application features across the main process, preload layer, renderer integration, and supporting Node.js components.
  • •Work with Chromium/Electron configuration, command-line options, and build settings to enable required desktop platform capabilities.
  • •Implement Windows and native integration features including lifecycle behavior, OS integration, system-information/hardware access, application protocols, and native functionality.
  • •Investigate crashes, runtime problems, memory/security concerns, installation problems, and web-to-desktop interactions; use profiling/logging and diagnostic tools.
  • •Apply security best practices (process isolation, restricted native APIs, secure IPC, controlled navigation), write unit/integration tests, collaborate cross-functionally, and document learnings.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • •1+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • •Experience developing software using JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • •Familiarity with Node.js and modern web application technologies.
  • •Understanding of software engineering fundamentals (source control, testing, debugging, code review) and ability to troubleshoot using logs and development tools.
