Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, design, and develop security capabilities to manage the vulnerability lifecycle and automate workflows to reduce KTLO toil.
  • •Own, maintain, and build Plaid’s VM Orchestration service and deliver engineered solutions to eliminate vulnerability classes.
  • •Partner with product and engineering teams to architect and build security controls and ensure services meet security standards.
  • •Build security-critical services, components, and internal tooling to automate vulnerability detection, dependency management, and remediation in the CI/CD pipeline.
  • •Support incident response and security awareness programs while educating and enabling other engineering teams to improve security.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years building and scaling production services.

  • •Experience designing distributed systems and microservices with a focus on performance and reliability.
