Job Summary

Provide technical guidance for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex software systems that meet business and technical needs. Lead instructional technical documentation for software systems operations, plan and resource programming efforts, and oversee work improving performance and reliability. Collaborate with developers, system administrators, QA teams, and project managers to ensure alignment, validate coverage across the lifecycle, and publish architecture methodologies and progress reporting. Mentor less-experienced staff and influence executive decisions on technology roadmap and standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead preparation and creation of instructional technical manuscripts for software systems operations.
•Manage resources and design detailed plans to ensure software systems function properly.
•Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, QA teams, and project managers to align on execution.
•Oversee work improving performance and reliability of the software systems infrastructure and publish lifecycle plan/progress reports.
•Develop organization-wide architectures and methodologies, evaluate new technologies for roadmap alignment, and mentor less-experienced staff.

Key Requirements

•Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience.
•10+ years of work experience, preferably in systems engineering or computer programming languages.
•Experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems across multiple platforms and organizations.
•Knowledge of software engineering practices including debugging, automation, and software development lifecycle validation.
•Ability to review and evaluate designs for compliance with development guidelines and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality.
