Lead the Starbase Materials Management team in night shift operations, overseeing daily receipt, distribution, and issuance of materials for Starship builds. Drive continuous improvement in logistics, inventory and work order management, mentor direct reports, and collaborate cross-functionally to meet production timelines and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform administrative duties, including approving timecards, scheduling, periodic reviews, maintaining stocking levels of supplies, mentoring and training direct reports
•Implement best logistics and inventory management practices including transportation options, kitting strategy, inventory strategy, and work order management
•Support and maintain metric goals and objectives for the Production Coordinator and Inventory teams
•Conduct regular safety walkthroughs, address safety issues, and promote safety policies
•Interface with Shipping, Receiving, Quality Control, Transportation, Planning, Purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems related to receipt and distribution of material

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing; or 4+ years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing in lieu of a degree
•APICS certification – CPIM or CSCP
•Lean/6-Sigma experience (Green/Black Belt certifications)
•Excellent communication and team-building skills
•Ability to work in a fast-paced /cross-functional environment
