Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct cutting-edge research on fusing recommendation systems with LLMs/multimodal models (e.g., LLM4Rec, foundation models, hundred-billion-parameter and multimodal large models).
  • •Develop and optimize deep learning algorithms for TikTok products across recommendation, advertising, and multimodal understanding.
  • •Collaborate with engineering teams to explore and validate novel algorithms under new architectures.
  • •Drive the end-to-end ML lifecycle, from ideation and research through building, deploying, and iterating on models in production.
  • •Commit to an onboarding date by the end of the year and clearly state availability/graduation date in the resume.

Key Requirements

  • •Completing or recently completed an Undergraduate/ Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • •Strong foundations in machine learning and NLP, with solid research and problem-solving capabilities.
  • •Proven track record leading high-impact projects or publications in recommendation systems, advertising, or large language model research.
  • •Publications at top-tier venues such as ACL, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, or CVPR are highly preferred.
  • •Self-motivated and collaborative, comfortable in a fast-paced, challenge-driven environment.
