Key Responsibilities

•Lead and develop the Code Plane team, balancing hands-on coding with people management and roadmap ownership
•Own the team’s roadmap and weekly execution, coordinating across Product, Design, Solutions Engineering, and adjacent engineering teams
•Provide architecture and technical guidance, ensuring high code quality and effective trade-offs in AI agent ecosystems
•Foster an async-friendly, collaborative culture, giving timely feedback and supporting career growth for reports
•Partner with Product and Design to translate customer feedback into shipped features and set clear ownership and success metrics

Key Requirements

•3+ years managing a team of professional software engineers, including hiring, onboarding, feedback, career growth, and managing out when necessary
•Strong IC background with ability to provide technical guidance on architecture, code quality, and trade-offs and to write high-quality code when necessary
•Proven experience leading teams that build end-user product features, ideally developer tools, agent/AI products, CLIs, or other technical product surfaces
•Experience partnering closely with Product and Design to take features from idea to shipped and incorporating customer feedback into the roadmap
•Customer-facing experience: discovery calls, design partnerships, incorporating feedback loops into a roadmap; async-first communication in a globally distributed remote team
