Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor network performance and perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for incidents, including guiding post-mortem reviews and improvements.
  • •Execute network changes across datacenters, backbone, and edge infrastructure to scale capacity and improve reliability.
  • •Manage and optimize the Crusoe network for both immediate needs and long-term goals, including frontend, backend, backbone, edge, and public cloud connectivity.
  • •Develop operational excellence by building monitoring, alerting, and systems to ensure high network availability and continuous coverage.
  • •Mentor network engineers and establish best practices for incident response, documentation, and operational readiness; manage vendor relationships and contracts for network services and equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience operating at scale in a production environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, QoS, BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, EVPN, VXLAN, and MPLS-related technologies like RSVP-TE and LDP.
  • •Strong understanding of network monitoring protocols and tools such as SNMP, IPFIX, Sflow/netflow, and Telemetry.
  • •Experience with scripting/coding (Python or similar) to automate operational tasks and build tooling at scale.
  • •Hands-on experience with major network devices and vendors such as Mellanox, Cisco, Arista, and Juniper.
