Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with engineers and platform teams to define commodity strategy, align multi-year technology roadmaps, and maintain approved vendor lists for memory and storage.
  • •Orchestrate demand forecasting and allocation across SpaceXAI companies to balance supply support for programs.
  • •Own global sourcing including supplier qualification, multi-sourcing strategies, and performance management to meet build schedules and reduce lead times.
  • •Negotiate agreements for competitive pricing, volume commitments, and preferential allocation to secure supply at reasonable cost.
  • •Monitor supply chain risks, protect build schedules, and drive cost reduction through should-cost analysis, long-term agreements, and value engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of experience, or 12+ years of experience in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering in lieu of a degree.
  • •7+ years of experience in global supply chain, procurement, sourcing, or commodity management focused on semiconductors, memory, storage, or datacenter infrastructure.
  • •Deep technical understanding of datacenter memory architectures (e.g., HBM, DDR5, LPDDR) and enterprise storage (SSDs, NVMe, storage-class memory).
  • •Proven experience sourcing memory/storage at hyperscale or fast-paced, high-growth technology environments.
  • •Demonstrated success negotiating and managing complex, high-value supplier relationships in volatile, supply-constrained markets.
