Own the Lending Core platform that powers botim credit products, including program configuration, the credit decision engine, and the end-to-end loan lifecycle state machine. Build self-serve capabilities so internal PMs can launch lending programs without engineering. Ensure extensibility for multiple product types and risk models, lead an initial migration (e.g., SplitPay), and act as a gatekeeper for engineering delivery while partnering with AI-assisted engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the configuration layer and deliver a self-serve portal for product managers to configure lending programs without engineering involvement.
•Own the credit decision engine by specifying interface/logic for loan application scoring or decision-tree rules and ensuring extensibility across products and risk models.
•Own the loan lifecycle state machine, defining shared application, disbursement, repayment, and settlement states across all platform products.
•Ensure multi-product compatibility by designing for coexistence of products with different feature sets without bespoke engineering.
•Lead the first migration (e.g., SplitPay), validate the approach, and gatekeep engineering delivery while translating stakeholder needs into platform specifications.

Key Requirements

•Demonstrable experience building a lending core, loan origination system (LOS), or credit decisioning platform as the product owner, not merely integrating it as a user.
•Deep architectural knowledge of lending systems, including configuration layers, decisioning modules, lifecycle management, and multi-product platform design.
•Breadth across lending product types (consumer instalment, BNPL, SME, revolving credit) to make credible platform design decisions.
•Comfort owning a platform with no consumer-facing surface, where internal PMs and engineers are primary stakeholders.
•Strong requirements definition and documentation skills, translating complex system behaviors into clear, testable specifications.
