Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate pre-shipping instructions and work with service providers on movements.
  • •Plan and coordinate shipment of cargo from origin to destination to meet required delivery efficiently while updating customers on progress.
  • •Maintain shipping files per shipping requirements and use logistics systems for accurate, timely movement transactions.
  • •Perform packing, marking, labeling, and measuring of cargo to provide accurate weight and dimensions.
  • •Record shipment data measurements to identify trends and alternative ways to improve moves and logistics services; assist F&A with validation of invoice rates and charges.

Key Requirements

  • •Complete a two-year degree (or equivalent) in Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or Engineering, with 1 to 2 years of logistics experience.
  • •Under direct supervision, coordinate movement of domestic and international goods in compliance with local and international law.
  • •Have knowledge of movement constraints and experience in one or two transport modes (Ocean, Air, or Land), including hazardous movements knowledge.
  • •Use logistics systems to ensure correct and timely movement transactions and maintain required shipping files.
  • •May require IATA/IMDG certification based on the scope of work; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
