Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track service intervals; order parts; and diagnose issues using real-time data.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing and maintaining equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and at customer locations, and handle necessary repairs.
  • •Set up and operate equipment on site and in the shop, working individually or with other technicians.
  • •Maintain complete, timely electronic paperwork (work orders) and assist with pick-up/delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Own applicable tools for the role and demonstrate advanced mechanical aptitude.
  • •Experience maintaining and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections and repairs.
  • •Read and use schematics and calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
  • •Provide superior customer service with strong teamwork and verbal/written communication.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred, with EPA 608 certification preferred (obtain within 6–12 months).
