Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as primary engineering authority for assigned I&C components, including circuit cards, control processors, power supplies, recorders, PLCs, DCS controllers, and monitoring equipment.
  • •Conduct root cause evaluations, failure analyses, and performance trending to identify degradation and develop corrective reliability improvements.
  • •Provide engineering support for maintenance and operations, including troubleshooting, repair, calibration, testing, and review/approval of maintenance work packages.
  • •Lead or support engineering change packages (ECPs), including design reviews, configuration control, and as-built documentation updates, ensuring compliance with applicable nuclear requirements.
  • •Oversee software configuration/version control and change management for embedded software, ensuring compliance with software quality assurance and cyber security requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, computer, or related field) from an accredited program.
  • •Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in nuclear or industrial I&C systems.
  • •Strong understanding of analog/digital electronics, power supply design, signal integrity, and embedded systems.
  • •Knowledge of nuclear regulatory requirements, including 10 CFR 50 and 10 CFR 21, ASME NQA-1, and IEEE standards.
  • •Experience with PLCs, software configuration/change control, and digital cybersecurity practices for nuclear I&C systems.
