Job Summary

Embedded Software Architect responsible for deriving and designing software architecture from system architecture for cryptographic devices in security technology. Develop modular, reusable software components with abstract interfaces for flexible use across projects, ensure device-specific constraints and data protection in embedded software, and lead the development lifecycle from proposal to production while translating customer requirements into robust software concepts and architectures.

Key Responsibilities

•Derive and design the software architecture from the system architecture for cryptographic devices in security technology.
•Develop modular, reusable software components with abstract interfaces for flexible deployment across projects.
•Consider device-specific constraints and implement data protection measures in embedded software.
•Oversee the development lifecycle from offer phase, through specification and development, to serial production of the devices.
•Capture, analyze and translate customer requirements into robust software concepts and architectures, and create technical documentation to support development and project execution including CI platforms.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., information technology, electrical engineering)
•Many years of software development and architecture experience with a focus on hardware-near software in C/C++ including templates and component-based programming
•Solid knowledge of building and defining CI toolchains and experience with modern development tools such as Enterprise Architect, UML, Jira and Confluence
•Practical experience with Agile development processes and methods; experience with certification projects, especially CC certifications and their specific processes
•Very good German and English language skills (spoken and written)
