Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, pay out, and process cash and negotiable items, including loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • •Set up, close, and balance the teller station; assist with balancing vault, ATM, night drop, and coin machine as assigned.
  • •Record sales of monetary instruments and maintain a neat, well-stocked teller area.
  • •Cross-sell bank products and services and cross-train to open basic new consumer accounts.
  • •Follow established limits and bank policies and procedures, including completing compliance training as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with emphasis on office/skills, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination).
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees in person-to-person and small group situations.
  • •Ability to perform basic math operations and handle money and measurements accurately.
  • •Ability to carry out simple multi-step instructions and use common sense judgment in standardized situations.
  • •Completed required BSA/AML and other required compliance training as assigned.
