Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain college laboratories and workshops for faculty and students, including installation, demonstration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • •Provide timely lab support and set up labs in preparation for experiments.
  • •Perform preventative maintenance, keep maintenance logs/manuals, and reinforce safety and housekeeping procedures.
  • •Track borrowed equipment/tools and manage consumable distribution and inventory levels in the lab.
  • •Provide teaching assistance to CIS faculty during laboratory sessions and support development/maintenance of teaching materials and student projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a relevant discipline is required.
  • •Master's Degree in a relevant discipline is desirable.
  • •3+ years of progressive hands-on experience in hardware and software support is preferred.
  • •Practical experience with PC and OS support troubleshooting and implementation.
  • •Current advanced industry certifications such as Microsoft or Cisco, plus Security/Networking, Server and/or Hardware are preferred.
