Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect eggs from belts, nest boxes, slats, and pen floors; observe egg quality characteristics, separate/record as instructed, and pack eggs for scheduled pickup.
  • •Perform routine housekeeping and light maintenance per daily checklists; check and repair/report issues with equipment and house infrastructure.
  • •Support routine quality assurance by monitoring sanitation and collecting items such as weekly feed samples and environmental swabs.
  • •Feed and water birds according to schedules, ensuring even distribution and weighing out feed to the specified ration.
  • •Weigh hens and roosters weekly, record weights/uniformity and production data, examine birds for illness, administer instructions for supplements/medications, and record/dispose of dead birds.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no employment gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months (18 months if laid off or providing child/elder care).
  • •Applicants must reside in the United States to be considered for an interview.
  • •Be willing to sign biosecurity/animal welfare agreements, including avoiding contact with avian species as specified by company guidelines.
  • •Follow biosecure facility requirements, including showering on-site and changing clothing/footwear before entering the facility.
