Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and lead logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting strategies.
  • •Solve scaling bottlenecks in telemetry data pipelines for critical services.
  • •Create tooling to accelerate root-cause analysis, reduce MTTR, and eliminate alert fatigue.
  • •Guide and mentor software engineering and SRE teams on monitoring best practices and code instrumentation.
  • •Identify and tackle architectural bottlenecks and single points of failure; respond to alerts and troubleshoot production issues.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience working with highly distributed systems.
  • •Expertise designing and implementing APIs and data pipelines for high-throughput, real-time ingestion.
  • •Experience improving software reliability across availability, performance, latency, efficiency, capacity, SLOs, and incident management.
  • •Proficiency developing and maintaining software/frameworks in Go and/or Java.
  • •Hands-on observability stack experience operating telemetry data stores at scale.
