Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and execute black-box tests for complex MaxScale scenarios involving filters and routers.
  • •Verify that product documentation is accurate and matches software behavior.
  • •Investigate escalated issues with support engineers (and occasionally customers), including reproducing problems and isolating root causes.
  • •Coordinate four maintenance releases per year across multiple MaxScale series, ensuring builds and packages are ready on schedule.
  • •Monitor and maintain the automated build system, troubleshoot build failures, and manage DEB/RPM packaging across Linux distributions.

Key Requirements

  • •Good working knowledge of C++ for test development and understanding the codebase
