Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate CDL B vehicles according to state and federal transportation laws while transporting loads safely and on schedule.
  • •Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain regulatory logs (e.g., ELD), and keep trucks clean and safe.
  • •Manage loading and unloading activities, including assembling customers’ loads per the loading list and following loading crew signals.
  • •Maintain delivery and shipping documentation, including invoices and bills of lading, and deliver documents to the appropriate staff when routes are complete.
  • •Support yard inventory control and organize trailers/yard for efficient loading while ensuring safety training and yard cleanliness standards.
  • •Works with supervisors and sales associates to resolve incorrect orders/deliveries and ensure quality customer service.

Key Requirements

  • •Possess and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or required chauffeur license for the vehicle weight.
  • •Must be able to pass and maintain DOT requirements, including a DOT physical, and comply with DOT regulations.
  • •Experience as a delivery driver with customer-facing interaction, including safe delivery in varied environments.
  • •Experience operating a forklift and straight truck, and ability to push and pull material from the bin.
  • •Ability to maintain safe operations, meet regulatory testing requirements, and maintain regular, reliable attendance.
