Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead Supplier Continuous Improvement projects and supplier trainings when needed to improve performance.
  • •Conduct audits of new and potential suppliers to assess their quality systems against Emerson requirements.
  • •Develop and follow up corrective actions or development plans until suppliers meet objectives.
  • •Resolve NCRs and create/track SCARs; follow up ECNs in time, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
  • •Lead technical reviews and supplier approvals processes, including on-site ESAC and process audits; monitor supplier performance metrics such as On Time Delivery, PPM, and lead time.

Key Requirements

  • •Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma; Green Belt or Black Belt certification is an extra benefit.
  • •Able to read prints and understand Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • •Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
  • •Strong presentation skills and the ability to identify opportunities, develop plans, and implement continuous-improvement solutions.
  • •Project management and auditing skills; Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Metallurgical) required, with 8+ years supplier improvement experience preferred.
