Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise end-to-end logistics activities including imports, exports, cross trades, charters, courier movement, transshipments, and local deliveries of aircraft parts and consumables.
  • •Coordinate AOG movements with fastest routing, documentation readiness, and customs clearance, monitoring shipment progress and resolving delays or discrepancies.
  • •Ensure compliance with GCAA/IATA/ICAO regulations, UAE & international customs requirements, and dangerous goods (IATA DGR) requirements.
  • •Liaise with freight forwarders, airlines, couriers, customs brokers, and internal teams (Engineering, Stores, Finance, Procurement, Operations) and escalate critical issues with corrective actions.
  • •Track logistics costs, validate freight invoices against quotes/services delivered, monitor vendor KPIs and logistics KPIs, and support SOP adherence and audits/CAPA implementation while managing subordinates.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • •5–8 years of aviation logistics or freight forwarding experience, including hands-on AOG shipments and customs clearance.
  • •Strong knowledge of aircraft parts logistics, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
  • •Professional certifications like IATA Cargo/DGR are an advantage.
  • •Proficient in ERP and MS Office, with high attention to documentation accuracy and compliance.
