Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement business processes for inbound and outbound logistics aligned with South32 standards and policies using 3PL and 4PL contractors.
  • •Own and manage risks for domestic and international inbound/outbound logistics while monitoring completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • •Lead and supervise the logistics team, including resolving problems, training, and setting schedules.
  • •Coordinate expediting for purchase orders and manage owner and contractor supplied loads, including offloading, storage damages, shortages, and returns.
  • •Develop reporting and KPIs for delivery schedules, tariffs, invoicing, bussing, permitting, and manage inbound logistics providers and outbound concentrate logistics across multiple interfaces.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • •Five (5) or more years of project, construction, or mining industry logistics or related supply chain experience.
  • •Extensive experience in major projects or high-volume inbound deliveries, including owning and managing material risk.
  • •ASCM Logistics Management or similar certification desirable.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and SAP or other ERP systems.
