Job Summary

Identify, solicit, develop, manage, service, retain, and grow long-term middle market client relationships by delivering a full range of loan, deposit, capital markets, treasury, risk management, and fee-based services. Execute Truist’s sales process and integrated relationship management, lead credit underwriting and risk mitigation, and champion non-credit financial services to drive portfolio revenue growth and new client production.

•Deliver a differentiated client experience using the Truist Sales Process, Financial Insights, Industry & Advisory teams, and Leadership Institute across clients, prospects, and COIs.
•Develop and execute a marketing plan to win new clients and expand existing relationships, improving portfolio revenue growth and new production revenue.
•Support the credit decisioning process, including analysis of financial statements, credit structuring, underwriting requirements, policy knowledge, and risk identification/mitigation.
•Proactively contact clients to develop middle market banking relationships using Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) and bring in partners to deliver Truist solutions.
•Champion non-credit financial services activity and manage complex corporate relationships, including knowledge of complex credit products and structuring (e.g., loan syndications and participations).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training.
•Up to 10 years of experience in commercial banking.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to manage borrowing client relationships with total debt of $10,000,000+.
•Strong proficiency in corporate finance, Capital Markets, Treasury, and other non-credit services.
•Demonstrated ability to grasp complex credits and maintain proficiency in finance and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
