Job Summary

Join the Aviation Infrastructure team to deliver airport engineering projects across the lifecycle, from masterplanning and feasibility through detailed design, construction plans, and handover. You’ll contribute to designs for runways, taxiways, aprons, lighting and signage, navigational aids, drainage, utility protection, and pavement rehabilitation, while producing calculations, reports, and technical specifications. Work with multidisciplinary teams and support asset condition inspections and design reviews.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to airport engineering designs including runways, taxiways, aprons, lighting and signage, navigational aids, drainage improvements, utility relocation/protection, and pavement rehabilitation.
•Produce engineering calculations, design reports, project definition documents, and construction plans, including works programmes and contract documentation with technical specifications.
•Undertake asset condition inspections on site and report conditions to enable capital project planning decisions.
•Take ownership of assigned tasks, delivering against project programme and budgets.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams, attend client meetings, and participate in design review processes with self-checking of deliverables.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).

•Experience in design, planning and construction support of civil engineering projects (airport experience desirable but not essential).
•Knowledge of Civil Aviation standards and recommended practices (ICAO, EASA, CAA, FAA, MAA) is desirable; familiarity with DMRB or highway civil engineering design and AutoCAD/Civil 3D/AviPlan is beneficial.
