Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage freight and distribution services, including shipping and customs brokerage, to meet regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • •Ensure required transport and shipping documents are available and completed.
  • •Implement appropriate transport modes and efficient routing to meet business, regulatory, and policy requirements.
  • •Manage freight & customs broker agreements and relationships, including performance reviews, key metrics reporting, record management, issue resolution, and compliance reporting/audits.
  • •Analyse capacity and forecast demand for customs & freight services (domestic and international), and improve freight and customs processes/tools with standardised documentation and partner support.

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent experience to, or a Certificate IV in Supply Chain / Logistics / Transportation or Distribution.
  • •Diploma of Customs Brokering (TLI50822) or willingness to complete within 2 years.
  • •Minimum 3–4 years of prior relevant freight and customs experience.
  • •Advanced ability to determine customs parameters (HS, Tariff, AHECC, commercial invoice content, etc.) and related documentation.
  • •Advanced knowledge of INCOTERMS and optimum arrangements for shipping modes.
