Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide day-to-day infrastructure support and incident response for Unix/Linux servers, service daemons, build farms, and developer tools.
  • •Triage and troubleshoot system and application issues by collecting logs, running diagnostics, reproducing problems, analyzing root cause, and implementing fixes or workarounds.
  • •Maintain and tune job-scheduling and compute resource systems (LSF or equivalent) and resolve job failures and resource contention.
  • •Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to automate operational tasks and repetitive workflows.
  • •Participate in incident postmortems, document findings, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Salary: RON 118,160 - 168,800 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, including shell usage, process management, system services, package management, and permissions.
  • •Hands-on experience writing and maintaining automation/troubleshooting scripts in Shell, Python, Perl, or similar languages.
  • •Practical log analysis and diagnostics using tools such as syslog/journald, strace, lsof, and netstat/ss.
  • •Familiarity with job schedulers and compute/cluster queue environments (e.g., LSF), plus understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and routing.
