Key Responsibilities

  • •Walk through the real permit submission process, including what’s included and what gets tripped up.
  • •Use the product on a real project by running a permit package through the software alongside the normal process.
  • •Review AI output on real permit submissions and flag errors, gaps, or misapplied code.
  • •Share jurisdiction knowledge on how review works across different jurisdictions and permit types.
  • •Review sample packages and provide feedback on what would be approved, commented on, or rejected.

Key Requirements

  • •Has personally submitted permits by preparing packages, responding to comments, and tracking approvals.
  • •Active or former plans examiner, permit engineer, architect of record, or homebuilder (with direct involvement in permit submissions).
  • •Deep knowledge of how permitting works in Florida, Texas, or California, including codes, departments, and local amendments.
  • •Can explain what reliably gets approved, what returns with comments, and what gets rejected for a given jurisdiction.
  • •Open to sharing examples of applications (passed and failed).
