Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive integrated process feasibility studies and deliver process solutions to improve performance, reliability, scalability, and yield while ensuring quality and safety for transfer to high-volume manufacturing.
  • •Develop enhancements to existing process flows by introducing novel materials and iteratively improving processes toward technology roadmap goals.
  • •Plan, design, and conduct experiments to characterize processes throughout development, supporting transfers from academic/consortia engagements to internal R&D and pathfinding.
  • •Identify integrated process solutions for program goals while interfacing with customers and partnering with integration, module, device, TCAD, design, analytical, and technician teams.
  • •Support program transfers from technology research to development teams and use big data analysis to propose data-based solutions for process design opportunities or manufacturing tool issues.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD degree in Electrical Engineering with hands-on experience in semiconductor processing, research and development.
  • •2+ years’ experience in device physics, semiconductor process technologies, or materials science via research, coursework, or internships.
  • •2+ years’ experience designing experiments and using statistical analysis tools such as JMP (or equivalent).
  • •2+ years’ experience in electrical characterization techniques (e.g., CV-IV testing, pulse generation) and physical characterization methods (e.g., SEM, TEM, XRD).
  • •Knowledge of CMOS process technology and solid-state physics, with ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment and lead research initiatives.
