Job Summary

Manage inventory flow at the Rocket Development Facility by receiving, stocking, issuing, and routing parts for testing operations. Maintain accurate onsite inventory through bin/rack storage, kit preparation, cycle counts, and correct transaction recording in company systems. Support safety and 5S practices while monitoring shelf-life/stock rotation, communicating with internal customers and suppliers, and streamlining material handling to keep technicians and engineers supplied.

Key Responsibilities

•Receive, stock, and issue parts, materials, and hardware to support site operations, manually or using the vertical lift module (VLM).
•Store items in bins/drawers/racks, identify parts and storage locations, and pick/prepare kits while ensuring all parts are accounted for.
•Maintain accurate inventory by recording transactions in company computer systems and performing routine cycle counts.
•Monitor shelf-life storage, maintain proper stock rotation, and support material handling practices and good housekeeping/safety/5S in the area.
•Use the electronic material requirements planning (MRP) system to route parts/components to the proper departments and resolve inspection discrepancies with internal customers and suppliers.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
•1+ years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or supply chain roles with receiving and precision/mechanical/metrological inspection experience.
•Ability to maintain strict material handling practices and keep shelf-life storage and stock rotation accurate.
•Experience using material requirements planning (MRP) and/or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
•Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted and have a valid driver’s license (overtime/weekend availability required as schedules vary).
