Job Summary

Lead Occupational Safety and Health programs for the Southeast Region within the Products Pipelines business unit. Own the development and continuous improvement of safety, industrial hygiene, and radiation safety plans, procedures, and metrics to ensure compliance with federal and applicable state OSHA requirements. Serve as a technical authority, support facilities and Safety Coordinators, coordinate OMS implementation, guide incident investigations and training, and represent the business unit in safety technical work groups.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide leadership, technical expertise, and guidance to ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, internal procedures, and OSHA requirements.
•Develop initiatives to improve safety culture and drive continuous improvement of safety issues across the Products Pipelines business unit.
•Maintain visible facility presence, respond to safety concerns, and lead/support Safety Coordinators including quarterly and annual Safety Coordinator Safety Conferences.
•Coordinate implementation and continuous improvement of Operation Management Systems (OMS) and safety procedures.
•Lead safety improvement initiatives (e.g., ergonomics, industrial hygiene, engineering controls, PPE, training), manage safety/injury metrics and incident tracking, and support incident investigations and emergency planning, including travel and overnight stays as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (or equivalent combination with progressively responsible safety experience).
•Strong understanding of federal and applicable state OSHA regulations and ability to apply health and safety requirements.
•Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, or SMP (preferred).
•Ability to develop, maintain, and implement safety, industrial hygiene, and radiation safety plans, procedures, and programs.
•Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
