Job Summary

Operate in the second line Technology Risk & Controls function, delivering independent, risk-based assurance across ITGCs, SOX controls, and control design. Provide practical guidance on control implementation and remediation, challenge control design/operation to meet audit expectations, and lead complex assurance reviews. Influence stakeholders across Technology, Finance, and Transformation with autonomy, shaping a more effective, standardized, and sustainable control environment while supporting remediation prioritization and audit-ready outputs.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as a subject matter expert across ITGCs, SOX controls, and control design.
•Provide practical, risk-based guidance to stakeholders on control implementation and remediation.
•Challenge control design and operation where required, ensuring alignment to audit expectations.
•Lead complex assurance reviews across systems, processes, or programmes, including defining scope, approach, and testing strategy.
•Drive standardisation of controls and assurance approaches while identifying opportunities to simplify the control environment and provide audit-ready, actionable insights.

Key Requirements

•Deep experience in SOX / ITGC / technology risk and controls.
•Certifications such as CISA, CIA, CRISC (advantageous).
•Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
•Proven ability to operate independently and lead engagements.
•Ability to translate complex control topics into clear business outcomes.
