Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply engineering judgement to the technical design and delivery of municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway infrastructure.
  • •Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and technical reports in line with municipal and provincial standards.
  • •Support projects through detailed design and construction administration, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • •Conduct technical analysis and calculations for civil systems including water distribution, sanitary sewers, stormwater management, and roadworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology.
  • •Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or C.E.T. designation, or eligibility to obtain, is considered an asset.
  • •5–8 years of hands-on technical experience in municipal infrastructure design and delivery.
  • •Strong technical proficiency in water supply, sanitary sewer, stormwater, and roadway design.
  • •Experience working within Manitoba’s municipal engineering environment, including applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
